Job Description
One of the most prestigious organisations in the Media world is looking for several contract Automation Testers with lots of Agile experience.
Please note that this is an initial 6 months contract with the possibility of extending several times.
This giant in the Media world has over 3 million registered users to its group level website and boasts an average daily readership of nearly 2 million. You’ll be working with some of the most creative technologists in the industry on challenging and high profile projects – this organisation offer a family like environment, freedom to flourish and an autonomous style of working. Their reputation in the industry is second to none.
Please note there is a strong focus on test automation in this role so the successful applicant must have strong skills in an agile testing tool like Selenium, TestNG, Web Driver, or Fitnesse. You must be able to write Java code and be very experience with Agile techniques.
There are Agile Test Analysts across multiple Agile teams (all hugely collaborative) to ensure consistency of testing approach as well as quality and stability of the systems that support various departments and other supporting applications.
Key Experience:-
+ Solid experience working with Agile automation tools;
+ Good knowledge of Java and can write Java code;
+ Exposure to hands on testing as an Automation Tester in an Agile environment;
+ An understanding of a range of Software Development Lifecycles (eg Agile, Waterfall, RAD);
