We have added a new feature to the LondonTester.com website to speed up your application process when applying for jobs.
You will notice the button above is now available on all job posts.
If you are not signed in when clicking the button, you will be prompted to do so (or decline). It should be noted that the LinkedIn login is done within a LinkedIn iFrame and is thus secured by LinkedIn also.
After sign in, it is a 1-click job application. The applicants LinkedIn profile is sent to the recruiter via email as a PDF attachment and another email sent to the applicant to confirm that they have applied to the job successfully. Done!
The iFrame also allows applicants to make any last minute updates to their profiles before submitting the application. So do give it a try.
We have lastly made this feature available to people who are not registered to LondonTester.com (limited time only).
Don’t like this way? No problem you can still upload profiles and CVs to your LondonTester dashboard and apply that way.
We would like to make you aware of the following event taking place. We hope you will help spread the word to other testers.
LondonTester.com was approached by Intechnica to assist them in broadcasting this event to the testing community. Please see the flyer below for further details. Additionally, please click the logos underneath the flyer to learn more about the companies. To register/book your FREE place please click the flyer.
iOS 5.0.1 is available fixing some important bugs. In particular the battery issues that Apple have admitted to (of course this needs to be tried and tested by the iPhone community before we know for sure).
You can download it straight to your phone by following the instructions below (I just tried it and have all my music, contacts etc intact – so that is a good start).
Michael Bolton will be teaching Rapid Software Testing in London, from 28th-30th November.
A little about Michael Bolton
Michael is a co-author (with James Bach) of Rapid Software Testing. He is a tester, testing trainer, and program manager. Moreover, Michael specialises in Rapid Testing (see http://www.developsense.com/RapidSoftwareTesting.html).
I had the pleasure of being present for one of Michael’s presentations at the London Tester Gathering (hosted by Tony Bruce). His speaking and presentation style grabs the audience. Additionally, I found Michael’s presentation really gave you a whole new perspective of the world of testing. However, what I found best was that he will personally challenge the way the whole audience thinks and encourages you to challenge back.
Please note: full credit for the Gathering goes to Tony Bruce & co.
